What does it cost to implement a Section 125 Cafeteria Plan? The costs are very small compared to the money saved in income & FICA taxes. Costs for a plan with Flexible Spending Accounts are usually a few dollars per month per employee. Premium only plans can be even less.

The cost can be paid by the employer, the employees or split between the two. In any case, the tax savings produced by the plan are more than enough to cover administrative costs and still make the plan very attractive to employer and employee alike.
